Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the advent and growth of tourism to space. Kristin is the daughter two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. She also covered the 2020 presidential race as well as the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. Her extensive travels with the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. With her experience behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
